Is this the real ChatGPT?
You use the real GPT models from OpenAI through their official API. The interface comes from ChatX, not from OpenAI.
Which GPT model should I pick?
For everyday questions GPT-6 Luna is enough, and it runs without signing up. For demanding texts, research and code, GPT-6.1 Sol or GPT-6 Astra with thinking mode is worth it; both need a free account.
Can ChatGPT search the internet here?
For models with web search (globe icon in the input field) you can turn the search on in the chat. The reply then includes current sources.
How is this different from a subscription with the provider?
There is no mandatory subscription on ChatX: you start without signing up with a starting allowance and afterwards pay only for your actual usage per reply. You also get the models from OpenAI and other providers in one place and switch whenever you like.
Are there message limits?
To prevent abuse, at most 30 messages per minute are possible. Beyond that, token usage counts: without signing up you have a starting allowance, with an account a daily allowance, and beyond that you buy tokens as needed. Without credit there is also a character limit per message.
How well does ChatGPT write in English?
The GPT models handle standard English well, in different tones too. With regional slang or highly technical writing, it's worth giving the reply a quick check.
Can I upload images and documents?
Yes, with a free account: you upload photos, screenshots, PDF and Word files and ask questions about them. Without signing up, uploads are not enabled.

How are tokens calculated?
ChatX bills based on the actual usage reported by the provider for your request. Large models cost more tokens per reply than small ones. You can see the approximate value for each model.
What happens to my data?
Your chats are stored only for you and can be deleted at any time. Requests are sent to the respective model provider to be answered. Details can be found in the privacy policy.
