Why templates give the AI more to go on

A brief request like “Write me a product description” leaves the AI too much open: for whom, how long, in what tone, with what goal. The templates fill such gaps in advance: they name the task, usually also context, form and the desired result, some a role; the image templates describe subject, light and style. Only your details are missing, and those are in square brackets.

With “Open in chat” the prompt lands in the input field, with the first short placeholder highlighted; you check the remaining brackets yourself, adjust the text if needed and send. The image templates are ready for image prompts; “Create Image” opens them in the image generator, where the displayed price per image applies. If no template fits, the Prompt generator builds you a complete prompt from a rough idea.

Good to know

  • 25 templates in six categories: writing, marketing, work, coding, learning and images; filter via the category bar.
  • Per template: “Open in chat” (the first single-line placeholder of up to 60 characters is highlighted), “Copy” for other AI services, for images “Create Image”. You choose the model in the input field.
  • Your own prompts with an account: up to 200 of them, title up to 120 characters, text up to 20,000 characters; when sending, the character limit of your message applies, when inserting, the first placeholder is highlighted.
  • The library is free and usable without sign-up; sending a text template is a normal chat request billed by usage, and there is a starting allowance as a guest too. Image templates run in the image generator at the price per image displayed there.
  • Characters per message: as a guest without credit 1,000, with an account without credit 10,000, with credit or a subscription no plan limit, technical ceiling 100,000; inserted text counts.

Frequently asked questions

How do I use the templates?

Click “Open in chat”. The prompt is in the input field, with the first short placeholder highlighted. Replace it, check the remaining square brackets, adjust the text if needed and send. With “Copy” you take the text to other AI services.

How is a good prompt structured?

Task, context such as audience and purpose, desired format and rules such as length or tone; a role (“as a copywriter”) can help. The templates follow this pattern at varying depth; the more specific the placeholders, the more useful the reply.

Do the prompts also work with Claude or Gemini?

The text templates are worded in general terms and can be sent to any chat model on ChatX that is unlocked for you; you pick the model in the input field. The image templates belong in the image generator.

What if the reply isn't quite right?

Stay in the same chat and say what should be different: shorter, more factual, with examples, as a table. Check figures and facts before you use them further.

What do the image templates do?

They describe subject, light and style in the way image models understand well. “Create Image” opens them in the image generator, where the displayed price per image applies; you only fill in the placeholders.

Can I save my own prompts?

Yes. With a free account you create up to 200 of your own prompts with up to 20,000 characters each in the prompt library and insert them with one click; the first placeholder is highlighted, and when sending, the character limit of your message applies.

What happens to my input?

As soon as you send a prompt, it goes to the provider of the chosen model like any chat message; what it stores is governed by its terms. Do not put passwords or confidential data into placeholders.
