What a detailed image prompt gives you
"A cat on a sofa" leaves everything open for the image model: which light, which angle, which style, which mood. The model fills these gaps itself, often differently from what you had in mind. A good image prompt names the subject with details, the surroundings, style or medium, the light, camera and composition, colors and mood, and what should not be in the picture.
These are exactly the building blocks the generator adds. You choose one of seven styles such as photorealistic, illustration, 3D render, anime, watercolor, pixel art or flat vector design, or let it derive the style from your description with "Free (from the idea)". The prompt comes in English by default, the common language for image prompts; below it is a short translation in the language of your input so you can change individual passages precisely. If you prefer, you get the whole prompt in the language of your input.
You need the tool when your images turn out differently from what you expected, when you plan a series in the same style or when you prepare a prompt for another image model. You then create the image itself with the AI image generator, where the price per image is shown before you start.
How it works
- 1
Describe your image idea
Write in one or two sentences what should be seen, for example "Lighthouse in a storm at night, seen from below".
- 2
Choose a style
Pick one of the seven styles or "Free (from the idea)" if the generator should derive the style from your description.
- 3
Set the language
English is the default choice for image models; "Same as my input" delivers the prompt in the language you write in.
- 4
Use the prompt
Copy the prompt into the AI image generator or another image model and, if needed, change only one thing per attempt.
Good to know
- Result: a detailed prompt with subject, surroundings, style, light, composition and mood; in English with a short translation in the language of your input, or entirely in that language.
- Eight options: "Free (from the idea)" plus seven styles: photorealistic, illustration, 3D render, anime, watercolor, pixel art, flat vector design.
- Runs as a chat tool with the model you choose in the input field; a default model is preset. In the chat you reach it with the shortcut /imageprompt; the chat's character limits apply.
- Usable without sign-up; usage per reply depends on model, input and output and any thinking phase, starter allowance also as a guest. Creating the image is a separate job with its own price, shown beforehand.
- The tool works with your text description; text and reply go to the selected chat model and stay in the chat history. Attaching an existing image as a reference works with an account via the paperclip, if the selected model understands images.
- You set the aspect ratio and size when creating the image, not in the prompt; the options depend on the model.
Frequently asked questions
What makes a good image prompt?
A specific subject, surroundings, style, light, angle, mood and what should not be in the picture. Vague words such as "classy" achieve little; visible details such as "soft window light, shallow depth of field" do.
Why is the prompt in English?
English is the common language for image prompts and is understood by the usual image models. The short translation below helps with adjusting; with "Same as my input" you get the whole prompt in the language of your input.
Can I create the image directly?
Yes. Copy the prompt into the AI image generator, choose the model and format there and see the price per image before you start. That works without sign-up too.
Does the prompt work in other image models too?
Yes, the description is worded generally and can be pasted into any text-to-image model. If a model expects parameters such as aspect ratio or version numbers in its own notation, add them there yourself.
Do I have to use the whole prompt?
No. Keep what fits and cut the rest. If you do not like the image, change only one thing at a time, such as the light or the style, so you can see what each change does.
How do I get a series of images in the same style?
Have the first prompt generated and then swap only the subject while style, light and composition stay the same. That gives a similar look, but not identical characters or objects; for that the image model needs an image reference. As long as generator mode is active, every further message is turned into a prompt again.
What does the generator cost?
It runs as a chat request and is billed by actual usage, depending on model, input and output and any thinking phase. A starter allowance is available without sign-up. The image itself is a separate job with its own price.
