Sound becomes a shareable video
A podcast, your own song, a voice message or a lecture recording exists as an audio file, but the platform only accepts video. MP4 is a container that stores sound and picture together; a renamed extension is not enough. The tool creates the missing video track and combines it with your audio in an MP4 file (H.264/AAC) that common players and platforms read.
You choose what should be seen: a waveform that moves to the beat of the sound, a “Spectrum” that shows the frequencies over time as a scrolling spectrogram, or just a calm plain color. You also pick one of four color themes and the aspect ratio for YouTube, feed or portrait; with the spectrogram, the theme sets the background color. The audio is carried over as AAC; the video is rendered at the chosen size.
Typical cases: put a podcast episode on YouTube, share a song as a portrait clip for Reels or TikTok, send a voice message in a chat that only accepts video there, or embed an audio sample in a presentation. For a short teaser, cut the section out first with “MP3 Cutter”.

Frequently asked questions
Why turn an MP3 into an MP4?
Some platforms and features, such as YouTube, Reels, TikTok or video messages in messengers, only accept video. The tool adds a visual to your audio, as a moving waveform, spectrogram or single-color area, and saves both as MP4.
Waveform, spectrum or color only: which fits when?
The waveform looks like an audiogram and suits speech and podcasts. “Spectrum” shows a scrolling spectrogram, that is, the frequencies over time, and suits music. “Background color only” is computed at 2 frames per second, gives the smallest file and is finished fastest, for long episodes, for example.
Which format for YouTube, Reels or feed?
16:9 (1280 × 720) for YouTube and landscape players, 9:16 (720 × 1280) for Reels, Shorts and TikTok, 1:1 (720 × 720) for feed posts; each platform lists its current specs. You choose the format before you start.
Can I use my own picture or cover as the background?
No. There are four color themes to choose from: Dark with a white waveform, Light with a dark waveform, Blue and Purple; with the spectrogram, the theme sets the background color.
Which audio formats work and how large can the file be?
MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG, FLAC and AAC up to 50 MB and 15 minutes. Shorten recordings of up to 60 minutes and 50 MB with “MP3 Cutter” first, longer ones in an audio program.
Is the sound quality kept?
The sound is re-saved for MP4 as AAC at 192 kbit/s. For speech and music the difference to the original is usually small; keep the original.
What happens to my file and what does it cost?
Audio and video are deleted 24 hours after upload (hourly cleanup). Converting is free and possible without signing up.
